This listing is for a service and basic repair to a Philips based CD player. I have been an audio electronics engineer for over 36 years and have a lot of experience with 1st and 2nd Generation Philips based CD players.
If you have a CD player that doesn’t read CDs due to requiring a calibration, or loading tray/draw issues or other basic problems; this service/repair is for you.
If the problem encountered is major like a faulty CD mechanism, I will provide a free estimate, and if declined all your money (except return carriage).
You will need to pay carriage both ways or transportation charges to and from me in Milton Keynes.
I am also able to modify these units using my famous NOS reclocking module (see photo) which will take your CD player into super audiophile league! If you have the soldering skills to fit my module yourself; see my separate listing for the board.
